Join the author, Adam Kahane, to discuss how everyday leaders can effect change and achieve remarkable results.

Health systems are some of the most intricate systems we encounter, and transforming them can seem daunting, even for our most experienced leaders. We often feel helpless when faced with persistent "wicked" challenges. But what if the ability to create change isn't just for a select few? What if leaders like us adopted a few simple daily habits and became extraordinary agents of change?

Read Everyday Habits for Transforming Systems: The Catalytic Power of Radical Engagement by Adam Kahane (a Member of the Order of Canada and a leading expert in designing and facilitating multi-stakeholder change processes).

Then join the Vernissage Health community, along with author Adam Kahane, who will host our discussion. Drawing from thirty years of experience with change makers in over fifty countries, Kahane will help us explore the seven daily habits that empower everyday leaders to achieve remarkable results. Share how you've applied or wish to apply these habits to your own work.

Prior to the session, registered participants will be asked to post one insight and question they've taken away from reading the book. These questions will be addressed by Adam during the first hour of the session.

After the first hour, we will set aside time for small group storytelling among health leaders at various career stages, reflecting on how we have transformed or wish to transform the systems we lead and serve.

Our discussions are always guided by the Vernissage Health dialogue touchstones, ensuring a safe space for sharing leadership stories. These stories will help us uncover the inner work required for change and explore how we can shift from feeling powerless to creating the change we desire.

Register for the upcoming virtual Vernissage Health book discussion on Monday, October 26th, 2026 from 7 - 8:30pm. Reflective questions to accompany your reading will be provided to early registrants!

Happy reading!
