This podcast is a student-directed companion initiative and ensures that the leadership tenets of Vernissage Health are available to a much broader audience of U of T students and early career alumni.  In its episodes, Built to Lead profiles a diverse range of students, Faculty, emerging and established health leaders in reflective conversations about their leadership beliefs, approaches, and journeys. Each episode is an engaging conversation, hosted by Vernissage Health alum and emerging leaders, about different aspects of health care leadership.

Based on the seminal work of Dr. Henry Mintzberg, this season explores the mindsets required of contemporary leaders in health - namely, the self reflective mindset, the analytical mindset, the collaborative mindset, the worldly mindset and the action mindset.  These leadership mindsets are explored with Dr. Mintzberg and through the eyes of contemporary leaders in Canadian health care.  Geared to emerging or early career leaders, listen to their stories, insights and reflections about what it takes to lead in today's health system.
