LIMITED SPACES AVAILABLE: Breaking Silence: Our Lived Experience Navigating Leadership

Updated: Nov 17, 2023

Breaking Silence is the first joint initiative of Vernissage Health and the BIPOC Health Leadership Network. Due to demand, we have opened up a few more registration spaces. If you are interested in attending, please register at Breaking Silence Registration.

This session, planned by Vernissage Health Alumni Matthew Goulbourne and Jasmin Soobrian, is about an often undiscussable topic - being health leaders in a leadership world where we are often the "only one" or "one of few" BIPOC voices. We intend to Break this Silence by bringing together BIPOC leaders in a positive and trusting environment where they can discuss the challenges faced.

Small groups will be led by designated BIPOC conversation hosts to foster sharing of our experienced in a safe and confidential setting. After small group breakout session, a collective debrief will explore critical insights and strategies for personal leadership development.

We know this is a bold conversation, but the BIPOC Health Leadership Network and Vernissage Health are keen to provide the space for a productive discussion to emerge! We look forward to seeing you at this event!

For more information please contact: Matthew Goulbourne or Jasmin Soobrian.
